About This Role
We're seeking an experienced backend engineer to join our team of passionate developers. This role is integral to our efforts to productize the solutions that we have developed, and help iterate quickly based on customer feedback. Working with a modern web development stack and comprehensive CI/CD setup, you will help maintain and elevate the standards of our engineering efforts. If you enjoy building efficient development pipelines, participating in strategic planning and interfacing with web3 technologies, you'll find this opportunity both challenging and rewarding.

What You’ll Need
- Technical Leadership: Experience in leading web development teams, with a proven track record in the B2B SaaS space. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, software design principles and CLEAN architecture.
- Architectural Expertise: Strong background in advising on architectural designs, specifically in creating fault-tolerant, secure and modular systems. We are modularizing parts of our service to be hosted on-premise to meet the security needs of our institutional users and offering customized whitelabel access to integration partners. [AWS]
- Operational Expertise: Knowledgeable in release management and CI/CD processes, coordinate with our DevOps engineer to ensure seamless transitions from development to production. We are pursuing a Test-Driven Development approach, with aims to put in place comprehensive integration and e2e tests to ensure functional integrity. [Github Actions, Cypress]

What You’ll Do
- Architect a security-first product that applies cryptographic protocols in novel ways to meet the unique needs of our clients
- Coordinate with our DevOps engineer to ensure reliability of our cloud infrastructure during tail events
- Expand on our automated testing frameworks to achieve maximal code coverage and streamline feature validation
Compensation
We offer competitive salary range ($150,000 to $180,000) + 1-2.5% equity + benefits (401k)
